Since I like to build frames using a variety of methods, and some forms are more labor intensive than others, the prices below reflect the amount of time and materials required.
Base prices are for frames using regular non-heat-treated chromoly tubing--from Dedacciai, Reynolds, and True Temper-- with your standard set of braze-ons for road brakes, derailleurs, and two water bottle cages. Base price includes powder coating in one color (see below for paint prices). Some of the more utilitarian types of bikes--like those for touring and commuting-- also tend to have a lot going on with them (like more powerful brakes, rack and fender mounts, light mounts, and so on). I have listed prices for these additional options.
